The Department of Health and Human Services has permitted art classes to resume if held outdoors with an appropriate COVID-safe plan and limited numbers. We are therefore offering blacksmithing workshops again! These will be held in a gazebo we are setting up outside in our home forge in Spotswood. The gazebo has no walls but offers some cover if it rains. We can safely hold up to 3 people, along with Rob, in this space and still maintain distancing.
We will be following a COVID-safe plan which includes hand sanitiser on arrival and social distancing. People will have to wear their own masks (adults and teenagers only). We also need to keep records which include recording the participant's suburb of residence.
Workshops are happening on Saturdays and run for 2 hours each. Time slots that are offered include 9-11 am, 12-2 pm, and 3-5 pm. Time slots may go quickly so please contact Rob if you are interested.
You are encouraged to look at our Rates page to see prices for a 2-hour concession or full fare workshops. The 6 x 2-hour workshop package also listed on our Rates page remains a popular one for NDIS participants, Homeschoolers or those wanting ongoing Mentoring. This package offers a small saving as well giving consistency and rhythm to your experience.
We are very much looking forward to firing up the forge with you again!!
